JOHANNESBURG – On Sunday night, international award show for Black excellence the BET Awards took a bad turn when rapper couple JT and Lil Uzi Vert got into a heated argument over allegedly flirtatious behaviour towards Ice Spice.
In a video posted on Twitter by American podcast ‘No Jumper’, the City Girls member could be heard yelling at Lil Uzi Vert, referring him as a ‘groupie’, and hurling insults before throwing her phone at him and storming out of the event.
JT And Lil Uzi Vert got into a scuffle at the BETAwards. Some people are alleging the altercation started after Uzi was talking to IceSpice. ????

Although the reasons for throwing a phone at Lil Uzi Vert are unclear, Jatavia Shakara Johnson, famously known as ‘JT’, is being slammed for what netizens are saying was ‘inappropriate behaviour’.
