Jets’ OT Billy Turner BLASTS ‘f***ing Bum’ Sean Payton after Denver’s head coach takes shots at New York’s offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett

Jets’ OT Billy Turner BLASTS ‘f***ing Bum’ Sean Payton after Denver’s head coach takes shots at New York’s offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett

New York Jets offensive tackle Billy Turner has come to the defense of his offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, after newly hired Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton had some choice words regarding Hackett’s coaching job last year.’

Payton was highly critical of the job Hackett did during his 15 games as Broncos head coach last season while speaking to reporters on Thursday, while he also took shots at Denver’s offensive line.

Turner started in seven of the eight games he played for Denver last season. He also played under Hackett in Green Bay when Hackett was the team’s OC.

‘Seems like someone started training camp and is trying to soften the blow after realizing what he’s in for this season. F***ing Bum,’ Turner said in a post on his Instagram story underneath Payton’s words.

Denver went 5-12 last season and 4-11 under Hackett while star quarterback Russell Wilson looked like a shell of himself following his shocking trade from the Seattle Seahawks.

Payton spent 15 seasons as the head coach of the New Orleans Saints before he temporarily retired in 2021 before taking the Broncos coaching job this offseason.

‘Everybody’s got a little stink on their hands,’ Payton said. ‘It’s not just Russell. It was a [poor] offensive line. It might have been one of the worst coaching jobs in the history of the NFL. That’s how bad it was.’

‘There’s so much dirt around that,’ he added about Wilson’s poor performance.

‘There’s 20 dirty hands, for what was allowed, tolerated in the fricking training rooms, the meeting rooms.’

‘The offense. I don’t know Hackett. A lot of people had dirt on their hands. It wasn’t just Russell.

‘He didn’t just flip. He still has it. This B.S. that he hit a wall? Shoot, they couldn’t get a play in. They were 29th in the league in pre-snap penalties on both sides of the ball.’

Denver and New York will face off in Week 5 of the regular season and if Thursday’s back and forth between the organizations is any indication it will be a very heated contest on the field.
