Jennifer Lopez Smoldered at Her Beverly Hills House Party Celebrating Her New Revolve Shoe Collection

Remember Jennifer Lopez’s outfit for this year’s Grammys Awards? As a refresh, the internationally renowned singer wore a sheer blue Gucci gown with a ruffled train and crystal fringes. But more importantly, there was the Easter egg everyone missed—the sky-high, crystal-embellished platform sandals that completed the outfit were a pair the musician and actor actually designed herself alongside Revolve. The footwear collaboration was unannounced at the time, but after it launched officially (on March 16), Lopez and Revolve feted the partnership this past Saturday night at a private home in Beverly Hills.  And because Lopez wouldn’t throw just any party—there were A-list guests in attendance and a bit of a performance. 

Inside the party was a dazzlingly crisp but inviting living space, where a display of styles from the JLO Jennifer Lopez for Revolve capsule could have almost been a component of the room’s black and ivory decor. A bedazzled knee-high here, a netted bootie or stiletto sandal there, plus more, sat atop branded pillars outfitted with white roses. “I wanted to bring confidence and sexiness to this collection,” Lopez tells Vogue about the 16-style selection. “You can also see the history and influence. Like the ‘60s and ‘70s with a modern flair.”

Outside, an 80-foot pool overlooking what felt like all of Los Angeles and lined with daybeds on which guests lingered as the night grew became a focal point of the night. Early partygoers had the luxury of lounging here for a view of the sunset while bearers of Champagne trays weaved about. Then, after Lopez’s arrival and before the night’s end, came a performance from a team of synchronized swimmers. Tiffany Haddish, in attendance, yelled out her coin phrase, “She readyyyy!” as the swimmers, who each donned a pair of shoes from the collection (while performing in water, no less), took the stage (well, pool). 

In attendance were Chloe and Halle Bailey, Christina Millian, designer Michael Costello, Lopez’ wardrobe stylist Rob Zangardi, Revolve Group Chief Brand Officer Raissa Gerona, Benny Medina, Rocky Barnes, and Emma Brooks; each was outfitted in a pair of heels of their choosing. While sounds from DJ Siobhan Bell filled the air around them, Lopez shared a cocktail and laughs with Millian and Haddish, at some point, hopped behind the DJ booth. And even from there, guests could bask in that famous Jennifer Glow.
