Janhvi Kapoor postpones Delhi shooting schedule due to Delhi flood crisis | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

Actor Janhvi Kapoor‘s shooting schedule in Delhi for the upcoming patriotic thriller film ‘Ulajh’ has been disrupted due to the severe flood crisis caused by the rising water levels of the Yamuna River. Initially planned to start on July 10, the shoot was scheduled to last for approximately 15 days in the national capital.
According to reports, the entire team, including Janhvi Kapoor, was prepared to arrive in Delhi on June 10.However, the plan had to be postponed as the situation drastically changed within a few days due to heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding. The shooting was scheduled to take place in various iconic locations in Delhi, such as Old Delhi, Red Fort, Qutub Minar,Lajpat Nagar market, and other monuments, including areas in South Delhi. Given the current circumstances and the paramount importance of safety, the team had no choice but to delay the shoot. The makers have not yet decided on an alternative location but they plan to resume shooting in Delhi in mid-August, capturing the intended locations as originally planned.
Meanwhile, actors Karan Wahi and Maanvi Gagroo managed to complete their shoot for an upcoming web series just before the onset of heavy rainfall. Fortunately, they avoided any disruption and were spared the need to halt the shoot midway. The team has been in touch to ensure their well-being, and they are relieved to have wrapped up their schedule in a timely manner. Despite the unforeseen challenges posed by the flood crisis, the production team of ‘Ulajh’ aims to resume shooting in Delhi once conditions improve.
On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor is also gearing up for the release of her next film ‘Bawaal’, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. The film sees Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead.
