Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana has a bust-up with teammate Edin Dzeko during win over Porto

Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana RAGES at team-mate Edin Dzeko during Champions League win over Porto and has to be restrained by Hakan Calhanoglu – before he plays down the row by insisting it’s ‘adrenaline that makes us angry’

Inter Milan pair Andre Onana and Edin Dzeko were involved in a fiery argument during their side’s Champions League last-16 win over Porto.

The Serie A side will take a 1-0 lead with them when they travel to Portugal in three weeks thanks to Romelu Lukaku’s late goal.

But in the second-half goalkeeper Onana had to be restrained by Hakan Calhanoglu after he was seen screaming at Dzeko.

The Cameroon international was angered by his team-mate, who told him to be quiet and get on with the game after he protested with the referee.

Onana looked to have told the striker to ‘shut up’ as he pointed at him angrily before Calhanoglu stepped in to cover his mouth.

He played down the incident after the game, insisting the win at San Siro was the most important thing.

‘These things happen in the game, everyone has a right to think what they want. If the adrenaline that makes us angry also helps us to win games the way we did tonight, then it’s welcome!’ he told Sky Sport Italia.

Peacemaker Calhanoglu added: ‘It’s a normal situation, we are in the Champions League and everyone wants to win.

‘We already laughed it over, these things happen when the adrenaline is running high’.

The incident comes just over a week after Lukaku and Nicolo Barella had an on-field spat of their own during the goalless draw with Sampdoria.

The argument occurred in the latter stages of the first half, with Barella throwing his arms up in the air in frustration after Lukaku gave the ball away cheaply.

The Chelsea loanee was unhappy with his team-mate’s reaction and shouted at Barella: ‘Don’t do that, enough with these arms! Do not do that! It’s not good, it’s insulting, now stop!’

Barella yelled back at Lukaku, leading to the Belgian forward ending the exchange by saying: ‘F*** you, son of a b***h’.

Inter conducted an investigation of their own but Lukaku and Barella managed to get away without a punishment.
