Ahead of their wedding on October 6, the couple hosted a phool haldi, mehendi and sangeet ceremony in Delhi. For the occasion, Richa decked up in a stunning pink embroidered lehenga while Ali Fazal looked suave in a white angrakha.

Pictures from their pre-wedding festivity saw the couple sharing laugh and indulging with the guests. For the Haldi ceremony, Richa and Ali were spotted sitting in huge brass containers with a bed of yellow and red flowers surrounding them. Post these ceremonies, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal hosted a cocktail and reception in Delhi on Friday. For the evening affair, Richa opted for a custom made saree which had her love story with Ali embroidered onto it. While Ali decked up in a regal sherwani by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The couple hosted family and friends from across Delhi with about 300 guests in attendance.

At the sangeet ceremony, Richa crooned her childhood song with her cousin brothers titled ‘The Chadha’s Gang song’ while Ali paid a tribute to his favourite actor Sanjay Dutt but performing an impromptu dance to the tines of ‘Main Hu Khalnayak’. “Ali is a massive Sanjay Dutt fan, and to see him imitate Sanju baba was fun. One of Richa’s college friends danced to her favourite tracks,” a guest had revealed. The couple also shook a leg to ‘Ambarsariya’ from their movie ‘Fukrey’. Later, Richa gave a glimpse of her Mehendi, which featured the initals AR (Ali-Richa). The couple is all set to get hitched in Mumbai on October 6.
