‘I Eat Fewer Tomatoes’: Actor Suniel Shetty On The Recent Tomato Price Hike

Tomato prices have been surging steadily over the past few weeks. Prices have been in the range of Rs. 150-200 in many Indian cities due to erratic weather conditions and a shortage in supply. While the government is making efforts to procure tomatoes and regulate prices, the price rise has been pinching the customers’ pockets. In a recent interview, actor-entrepreneur Suniel Shetty spoke about the impact of tomato price hike on his kitchen. As per a report by Aaj Tak, Shetty too has been cutting back on his tomato consumption due to the rise in prices.

Meanwhile, actor-entrepreneur Suniel Shetty isn’t the only one affected by tomato prices.
