Firstly you need to understand, your marital commitment is with one person and that person is your wife. Now you may meet a lot of people in your life who have other qualities, maybe your sister-in-law is confident, wise or intellectual and that may attract you. Every human being is different; your wife may have some other qualities that may be appealing.
So firstly you need to understand—THE MORE YOU RESIST, THE MORE YOU PERSIST.
Here is how you can control this kind of situation:
Firstly write down the qualities you like in your sister-in-law; she may be good in conversations or may have a good dressing sense. Then talk to her whenever you both are together and express your gratitude for having a sister-in-law who has a good sense of conversation—“I am very grateful for a family member like you who is so humorous and wise.”
The more qualities that are attractive, the more you will appreciate her. Be positive and grateful for your wife. But if you hide your feelings because you like someone else, it will transform entirely.
Express gratitude while being with your wife and say how thankful you both are to have an elder sister in life. Then, you should specifically express gratitude for only your wife because the more you are grateful for the things you have, the more the universe will give to you in abundance. That’s the magic of the universe.
If what you feel for the elder sister is no more than a physical attraction, then you should stop thinking about it immediately. It will ruin your relationship.
