The smartphone has been launched in two storage variants that offer 128GB and 256GB internal storage. While the former is priced at CNY 2,699 (approximately Rs 30,800), the latter is priced at CNY 2,999 (approximately Rs 34,200).

The Nova 9 Pro also comes in two storage models of 128GB and 256GB that are priced at CNY 3,499 (roughly Rs. 40,000) and CNY 3,899 (roughly Rs. 44,500) respectively.

Running on HarmonyOS 2 that is based on Android Open Source Project (AOSP), the Huawei Nova 9 smartphone offers a display of 6.5-inch FHD+ screen of 2340x1080p resolution with a punch-hole camera on the top.
