The humble burger has come around into being one of the most popular dishes across the world. The combination of a soft burger bun with a crunchy patty, cheese, vegetables and sauces is wholesome and a complete meal by itself. From street-side stalls to fine dining restaurants, the burger can be found in many different places. However, a burger that this social media user was served was definitely unusual. A Reddit user took to the platform to share a hilarious picture of a burger served in an extremely pretentious way and that too without the buns. Take a look at the post here:

The post was shared on Reddit by user u/SassyPerere in the sub-Reddit r/StupidFood. It has received 3.8k upvotes and hundreds of comments from users. “Stupid hamburger serving at a supposed sophisticated restaurant,” wrote the user in the caption. In the picture, we can see a plate with a deconstructed or ‘pretentious’ burger. The vegetables are placed on one side like a salad, while the other side had a patty with a slice of cheese on it. The buns appeared to be missing from the picture.
The pretentious way to serve a burger without a bun got a lot of reactions from Reddit users. They were left in splits on seeing the bizarre deconstructed burger. Some identified the restaurant, saying that it was ‘Madero’ from Brazil which had the tagline, ‘The Best Burger In The World’. Others said that the burger seemed to be made to a specific order and was perhaps not a regular dish on the menu.
