Harman Baweja reacts to past link-ups with Priyanka Chopra and other rumours, says ‘It’s part and parcel of our profession’ – Exclusive | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

From his striking resemblance to Hrithik Roshan to his alleged link up with Priyanka Chopra, actor Harman Baweja was always at the receiving end of tabloid scoops, during his short but eventful career. While the man is all set to be seen in Netflix’s upcoming show ‘Scoop‘, ETimes chatted with him only to understand what brought him back to acting after such a long break.

SCOOP: Karishma Tanna, Harman Baweja & Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub Get CANDID | Priyanka Chopra

ETimes asked Harman about the biggest scoops from his career back in the day. His association with Priyanka Chopra took centre stage over his work and films. To this Harman replied, “That’s tabloid media to start with. They are not really interested in if you have done a film or bagged another film or worked hard on a film set and got injured. They see you outside a restaurant and 3 minutes later another girl walks out of the same restaurant and apparently the tabloids think you were having lunch with that girl, while in reality, that is probably not true. I would have gone to pick up a packet of food and the other girl might have been with her dad.”

Harman further explained, “The scoops were fun when they were sweet but it was bitter when they weren’t. But it’s a part and parcel of the line you have chosen, so you can’t really complain.” Harman debuted as an actor in 2008 with Love Story 2050 alongside Priyanka Chopra. They also had What’s Your Raashee? released in 2009. Harman phased out his acting career after the 2014 release Dishkiyaoon. He took to production, making shows like Super V and Bhaukaal.
