Karan Johar, who quit Twitter a few months ago, recently joined the newly launched Threads app and interacted with his fans by conducted an AMA (Ask Me Anything) session.

Amongst many questions, the much loved filmmaker was asked what is he upto, post his much awaited movie Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. A user asked him, “What’s ur next project? @karanjohar” and responding to the same, Karan added, “An emotional actioner”.
Karanalso got his share of trolling during the session, which he chose to respond to in his usual witty style.

One person asked Karan, “You are gay, right?” To which, the filmmaker replied, “You’re interested?”
When asked about his biggest regret, Karan said, “I never got to work with and direct my favourite actor Sridevi ma’am.” Talking about Dharma and SRK’s collaboration for a project, Karan replied, “Ask me no secrets will tell you no lies.”
On being asked whether he considers himself a black sheep, Karan denied and said that he is the good son and the only child to his parents. He also revealed that his biggest strength is being thick skinned to trolls.
When one user asked Karan to share a piece of advice for a 20-year-old who wants to become a filmmaker like him, he replied, “Don’t listen to naysayers! It’s possible so believe manifest and be educated in film before you deep dive into it.” He also said that dealing with people and sometimes their fragile egos is the most challenging part of being a director.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani co-stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles. It will hit theatres on July 28.
