Nat Sciver-Brunt’s second century in three days helped England to a 69-run DLS win in the final game of the women’s Ashes at Taunton.
The all-rounder followed up her unbeaten 111* in the second ODI with a brilliant knock of 129 to help England post an imposing 285 from their 50 overs.
Australia’s task wasn’t made any easier when the rain delay left them with a revised target of 269 from 44 overs.
Ashleigh Gardner’s explosive hitting threatened to set up a thrilling finish but in the end England prevailed and inflicted a first ODI series defeat on the tourists since 2013.
Although victory for England levels the multi-format series at 8-8, holders Australia retain the Ashes title.
