Edtech firm Hero Vired appoints Samra Rahman as head of people and culture

Edtech firm Hero Vired on December 5 announced the appointment of Samra Rahman as head of people and culture. As a member of the core leadership team, she will play a crucial role in attracting and retaining diverse talent, strengthening growth opportunities for the firm, and driving an agile culture to aid the next phase of growth, it said in a statement.

With Samra joining us in the next phase of growth, our focus on building a futuristic and agile workforce will be the key to achieving business goals and making deeper inroads into the upskilling landscape. We believe that her vast exposure to the edtech sector and proven expertise in learning and development initiatives will add immense value to the company,” said Akshay Munjal, founder and CEO, Hero Vired.

Rahman has demonstrated expertise in recruitment, retention, employee satisfaction, rewards systems, and L&D initiatives for senior leadership and the staff, it said.
In her previous stint, she was the CHRO at Centum Learning. She has also been associated with HCL Technologies, IBM, and Tata Teleservices in the past.
