Revealing the reason behind the same, the actor shares, “Dad is funny, he still does about five films a year and I’m doing these long drawn films which take 8-10 months, he doesn’t understand why a film takes this long. He’s told me if you do one film a year don’t come to my house (laughs).”
The actor who is known for his romantic films like ‘OK Kanmani’ and ‘Sita Ramam‘, reveals that there are often days when his wife Amal Sufiya forgets that he’s an actor. Dulquer says, “My wife has still not accepted the fact that I’m an actor, for her I’m just a guy who goes to work and comes back. Honestly, in the first two-three years of my marriage, if someone would come up and ask me for a picture, she would ask me why they want a picture with you and I had to remind her that I’m an actor. She’s so disconnected sometimes. For her it is like I know what you are at home, people only see you as groomed.”
