Dia Mirza, who is celebrating her 41st birthday today, opened up about enjoying motherhood and watching her son grow up so fast.

Spilling some beans on the same, Dia said that it is crazy that Avyaan was so tiny last year and now he has grown up so fast. According to her, these experiences are life-altering and the best thing in the world.

Elaborating more about her beautiful boy, the actress added that Avyaan communicates very effectively. He is very curious and dances. He hums along with songs. Dia also stated how they take him to the garden and he shows her what she used to show him when he was younger. If he spots a bird, he would look in that direction, point and say ‘birdie.’ According to her, Avyaan actually listens and it’s very interesting. All children have these qualities, it’s fascinating to witness them in real life, the actress told Hindustan Times.

Dia also opened up about feeling guilty to leave her kids at home when she goes to work. According to her she feels bad and she misses her children when she is at work. It especially was the case when she was shooting for her upcoming film, ‘Dhak Dhak’. Dia reportedly needed to be away for an extended period of time. The climate and conditions weren’t ideal to travel with her child. The actress revealed that she felt very helpless. She missed Avyaan terribly and felt guilty. Dia added that every day she was just counting the days to get back home.

Meanwhile, ‘Dhak Dhak’ also stars Ratna Pathak Shah, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanjana Sanghi in lead roles.
