When it comes to desserts, sometimes it’s simply too hard to refuse. Even the best of us regularly succumb to our sugar cravings; although we eat healthy most of the time – we can’t help but feast upon some delicious desserts! Our favourite Bollywood celebrities too regularly indulge their dessert cravings and give us major foodie goals. Actress Deepika Padukone was the recent one who took to Instagram to share one of the droolworthy desserts she indulged in. Can you guess what it was? None other than a decadent multi-layered chocolate cake! Take a look at the photograph she shared of the classic dessert.

In the picture shared by Deepika Padukone, we could see a slice of a rich and indulgent chocolate cake in a plate. The cake had multiple layers and buttercream frosting was generously slathered in between them. There was also a teacup visible in the background of the photograph. The actress seemed to be enjoying this tasty dessert after a long hiatus. “I missed you Linda,” wrote Deepika Padukone in the post’s caption. She also used the abbreviation ‘iykyk’, which means ‘if you know, you know’. The actress seemed to be using the term as an inside joke – and our guess is only as good as yours!
This is not the first time Deepika Padukone has indulged in some delicious desserts. In the month of April, the actress had shared yet another picture of her scrumptious sweet treat. It was yet again another chocolate cake paired with vanilla ice cream. “BASIC,” she wrote along with the hashtags ‘chocolate cake’ and ‘ice cream’ in the post.
Chocolate seems to be one of the favourite indulgences of the actress and we have seen proof of this several times. Last year, Deepika Padukone shared a video of herself enjoying delicious chocolates to some dramatic music. “Send this to a chocolate lover,” she wrote in the caption. Take a look:
