‘Dasara’ Box office collections Day 1: Nani’s Mass Swag action period film takes a good start at the ticket window – Times of India

‘Dasara’ is expected to do well at Tollywood’s box office for two reasons, 1. There is no big competition in the market 2. It is a festival day (Sri Rama Navami today). As this is a Mass and super Swaggy film by Natural star Nani and the first Pan-India film made on a large scale. The film is expected to be earning more than Rs 20 crores on Day 1 from all its language versions.
The film is said to have over 70% occupancy on day 1 in most of the released centers and languages and is getting hit to above-average talk for its content, performances, and execution, and Nani’s performance is said to be one of the highlights of the film.

As the expectations were super high for this period’s action drama, the collections were reflected in its advanced mass bookings in both domestic and overseas markets. The Telugu version of the movie is said to have grossed over USD 5 lakhs already through its premieres in the US and it is said to be the highest ever for Nani in the overseas territory. The bookings are said to be super good in the Telugu states and a little less in the other languages.
While the Hindi version of the film has reportedly minted over Rs 2.25 crores via advanced bookings and it is said to be the highest for Nani in his career so far as this is the first time he went for a Pan-India release and the film will be reportedly dominating Ajay Devgan’s ‘Bholaa’ at the Indian box-office.
