Shane Nigam has shared the photo taken during their meeting, on his social media handle and captioned, “Truly a memorable day :).”

Though the makers are yet to make an official announcement, it is confirmed that Priyadarshan will be directing Shane Nigam. Interestingly, this is also the first time, Priyadarshan is working with a bunch of actors from the current generation. As per the reports, actors Arjun Ashokan, Shine Tom Chacko, Sidhique, Johny Antony, Maniyanpilla Raju, and, Appani Sharath too are part of the film. The film is said to be a comedy entertainer, as will go on floors in September. The title and other details regarding the cast and crew will be announced later.
Meanwhile, Priyadarshan is currently working on ‘Olavum Theeravum’, a segment from an upcoming anthology based on MT Vasudevan Nair’s short stories. The anthology will have 9 segments, of which two will be helmed by Priyadarshan. ‘Olavum Theeravum’ will feature Mohanlal in the lead, and Santosh Sivan has roped in as the cinematographer. Priyadarshan will be starting the shoot for the same in the month of July. He will also direct another segment ‘Shilalikhithangal’, which will feature Biju Menon and Shanti Krishna in lead roles.
On the other hand, Shane Nigam’s last two outings were ‘Bhoothakalam’ and ‘Veyil’.
