The pair have been friends for years, with Clive having worked as a RangersTV commentator, the club “Coisty”, as he’s known to Clive, used to manage.
McCoist, who is something of a Scottish football legend, is no stranger to the media spotlight, having spent years as a captain on Question of Sport with Sue Barker and Matt Dawson.
Most recently he has worked for Amazon Prime as part of their Premier League commentary team.

Meanwhile, his mate Clive Tyldesley, who is famous for his commentary, was replaced by Sam Matterface as ITV’s lead commentator after 22 years.
However, he has stayed with ITV for the coverage of the Euros, much to the delight of viewers around the country.
He made viewers laugh when he requested they stayed with the France vs Switzerland match on Monday instead of turning over to Love Island by swiping “right for Ally McCoist”.
