Cinematographer Yamini quits from the crew of Dhanush and Selvaraghavan’s ‘NaaneVaruven’ – Times of India

The movie shooting was earlier announced to be going steady and Selvaraghavan had announced that he was going to work on free hands of the camera after a gap of 18 years. He had even posted photos of him behind the camera.

Now, the movie’s cinematographer Yamini Yagnamurthy through her official twitter account stated that she has left the project of ‘Naane Varuven’ due to “unavoidable reasons.” Yamini in her tweet noted that, “It was a great experience and learning working with director @selvaraghavan and the creative team of #naanevaruven. Due to unavoidable reasons, I have decided to step out of the project. Best wishes to the team! Thanks for the support.”

Yamini has also worked with Selvaraghavan for the upcoming action-drama, ‘Saani Kaayidham’, so it was a bit shocking to hear the news of her exit from ‘Naane varuven’.

Earlier, it was announced that the movie will denote the reunion of Actor Dhanush, Director Selvaraghavan, Music Composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and Cinematographer Arvind Krishna, but there was no further updates on this. With Yamini now exiting the film crew, the makers of the movie are yet to make an official announcement as to who will be replacing her position as cinematographer.
