This was his second personal foul during the drive after he was called for a facemask two plays earlier, ripping wide receiver Michael Pittman’s helmet off.

Dulin didn’t take too long to get up, but gestured and shook his head as he walked towards the sideline. The fourth-year wide receiver had to be looked at by team staff after the hit but was able to walk off on his own.

James, a fifth-year strong safety, also had to be looked at by team staff after the play as the defender led with his helmet on the hit. He was brought to the Chargers’ medical tent for further evaluation.

Along with being ejected from the game, James received a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty, putting the Colts in field goal range. Kicker Caleb McLaughlin hit a 46-yard kick to complete the drive.

James was voted to the Pro Bowl this season, his third selection. He has 106 tackles along with four sacks and two interceptions, one of which came during the first quarter of Monday night’s game.
