In the latest update on the cruise-drug case, a special court in Mumbai will hear accused Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and others’ bail pleas on Wednesday at 11 am. Advocate Amit Desai representing Aryan Khan has asked that his bail application hearing be scheduled for Wednesday. In reply, Special prosecutor Sethna on NCB’s behalf, said, “As per Desai’s submissions, his matter deserves priority. The other matters, their quantities are different. It will not be humanely possible for us to file replies to all applications. Let the matters start from the first produced.”

Rajkummar Rao is all set to play the lead in Anubhav Sinha’s next which will be shot in Lucknow starting November. Interestingly, this will be Rajkummar’s fourth film shoot in Lucknow after ‘Behen Hogi Teri’, ‘Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana’ and ‘Bareilly Ki Barfi’. Titled ‘Bheed’, the film’s female lead is yet to be announced. “We plan to begin shoot in Lucknow sometime in November,” said Sinha. Not willing to disclose the story of the film, on why he’s chosen such a title, Sinha says, “Bheed is one of those titles that the whole team jumps at the moment you propose it.”

Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor is all set to unleash his never-before-seen avatar with his next film. He has slipped into the role of a small town playboy for ‘The Lady Killer’, which traces a whirlwind romance packed with thrilling twists and nerve-racking suspense. Helmed by filmmaker Ajay Bahl, the suspense drama will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shaaliesh R Singh. Along with this grand announcement, the makers also unveiled the first poster of the movie.

Today, Bollywood’s megastar Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his birthday. Since this morning, fans and admirers of Big B have taken to their social media handles to shower wishes on him. His son Abhishek Bachchan also took to his Instagram handle to dedicate a special video to the star. The video is a compilation of some priceless throwback pictures and read, ”My hero, my idol, my friend, my father! Happy birthday Dad. Love you.”
