On Wednesday night, Foundrae co-founder and creative director Beth Bugdaycay kicked off the holiday season with an intimate dinner to celebrate the latest from her label—a line of vintage-inspired jewelry baubles beloved by antiquarians and the bohemian set. And, because Foundrae prizes artisanal and handmade wares, its latest collection includes a homeware collaboration with famed Italian ceramicist Laboratiorio Paravicini.
Friends of the house, including Jennifer Connelly, TK Wonder, Cipriana Quann, and Lynn Yaeger, mingled over cocktails and took in the array of giftable items on display. An in-house engraver was on hand and made the rounds to personalize charms for guests.
On this unusually warm October evening, guests were treated to dinner under the stars on Bugdaycay’s expansive terrace. Food was served family-style under the supervision of chef Laila Gohar. Each place setting had been individually monogrammed to reflect the collection being celebrated.
When speaking of her new collection, Beth added: “We created our tableware to inspire celebrating with and giving to the people we love. Last night embodied that. I hope it’s the first of many holiday parties for everyone.”
