This is the reason why so many pizza restaurants are popping up on every street in India that serve pizza made with the best toppings.Recently, a list of top 50 pizzerias in Asia Pacific for 2023 has been released by Top-50 Pizza, which publishes rankings of the best pizzerias around the world and has named two Indian pizzerias in it. This list has proved India’s mettle in the whole Asia.

They released region-specific guides for Europe, Italy, America, and around the world during an event held in Tokyo in May, where two Indian representatives made the country proud.

The first one was Da Susy, which is a pizzeria located in the Sector 50 area of Gurugram. It is at number 44 in this list. They also have an outlet in Crosspoint Mall in Gurugram itself. Chef-owned Susanna Di Cosimo serves Neapolitan-style pizza made with fresh ingredients. His post on Instagram reads, ‘I am very grateful to my team that works hard and diligently for me day in and day out.’ Their work has been honoured with three awards including Best Pizzeria in India, 44th Best Pizzeria in Asia and ‘One to Watch’.

Meanwhile, Leo’s Pizzeria was in 47th place, which has outlets in Vasant Vihar, Amar Colony and will soon open its doors in Ghitorni as well. Established by Amol Kumar, the pizza chain has quickly carved a niche in the hearts of pizza lovers across the city.

Topping the chart in this list is Tokyo’s The Pizza Bar located on the 38th floor of the Mandarin Hotel in Nihombashi, Japan.
