With visuals of a calm and composed SRK returning back from visitation, to reports of Gauri Khan religiously praying, putting away festive cheer at home till her son’s back, one part of the arrest can make many parents wonder- what if it was their child who got arrested? How do you cope with something as conflicting and emotionally rebuking as this? In a way, while Aryan Khan’s shocking arrest has divided people, it has brought many parents together, sympathizing with SRK and Gauri and in these tough times, it’s almost like the 23-year-old is everybody’s own child. From his graceful, calm appearances in the public, to simply all the stories supporting his groundedness, we cannot help but empathize with SRK and his family in these testing times. No matter what the ultimate verdict could be, if there’s anything any fellow parent wishes for right now, is to offer all love and support to SRK the parent, and not just the public hero.

It’s not just Aryan’s crime, but a battle for the entire family

The allegations- true or baselessly wild could be putting the young Khan scion’s life in jeopardy. 24×7 media coverage, constant camera shuttering around the jail he’s currently lodged in and the family home, the case will be talked about for long. However, it’s not something any family deserves to go through- be it a celebrity or otherwise. When you are grieving, or facing a crisis like this, would anyone really want a public gaze on it? In the absence of any evident proof, Aryan’s holding is also something seriously concerning. The crime in question could hound the Khan family for months to come, span headlines, and leave lingering trauma for Aryan, his siblings and his parents. Hence, while we continue to question if Aryan Khan is guilty or not, we also have to remember SRK and Gauri, and the problems they are going through in this battle.
