Arshad Warsi hints that Munna Bhai 3 with Sanjay Dutt may not happen – Times of India

Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Lage Raho Munna Bhai impressed the audience with its social commentary presented in a humourous manner. Especially, the chemistry between Sanjay Dutt as Munna Bhai and Arshad Warsi as Circuit received so much love that the jodi became an iconic. Reports suggested that a third part of the film is in the offing, but turns out it may not be true.
In a recent interview, Arshad Warsi hinted that Munna Bhai 3 may not happen.He said it is the weirdest thing that they have a director who wants to make it, a producer who wants to produce it, an audience who wants to see it, and actors who want to act in it, but it is still not happening.
Arshad further explained that director Rajkumar Hirani is insanely perfectionist and is committed to delivering a script that lives up to the expectations set by the previous two films. He said that Raju has 3 scripts, but there are some glitches. And he won’t begin the film unless he is confident of the script.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Arshad had disclosed that if he asks Maria for her opinion on his performances, she simply advises him not to seek her judgment. He said, “If I ask her how did I do? She would say don’t ask me that question. You are a good actor, the question is what projects are you choosing. She thinks I’m a good actor who does bad projects.”
