Apple Event on March 8: iPhone SE 3, Green iPhone 13 to Macbooks, here is what to expect

From iPhone SE 3, iPhone 13 to new Macbooks – here is what Apple Event is expected to unveil today.

Finally, it’s Apple Event Day! The wait for Apple fans, who were waiting for the new Apple launches, will be over today – March 8. The Apple Spring Event, which has been teased with just two words – “Peek Performance” has taken the excitement bar high. And these two words just left everyone thrilled as they have added to the hype that is already skyrocketing. Of course, the next ‘affordable’ iPhone SE 3 5G is what is on top of everyone’s mind. But there is more to it! Apple Spring Event is expected to make launch other products too, possibly a MacBook, or it can be an iPad, or maybe both! Well, the long series of leaks and reports has churned out a lot of information for you to digest, but there is nothing official about it as Apple itself has not uttered a word. So, we have compiled them all in one place. Today’s Apple Event which is scheduled at 11:30 PM IST is about a lot of things. Let’s have a peek at the Apple event and expectations thereof.

Apple Event: A Sneak-peek

iPhone SE 3

With no major changes in design, iPhone SE 3 is tipped to look like the iPhone SE 2020. The big change in the next iPhone SE 2022 will be its A15 Bionic chipset and 5G connectivity. Well, for photography, it is expected to feature a single camera setup- a 12MP camera sensor along with an external X60M 5G baseband chip for better photography. Though, it is the price which is being the highlight of the next iPhone SE 3. In a leak, analyst John Donovan said that iPhone SE 3 is expected to start at just $300. If that will be true, then iPhone SE 3 will be the ‘cheapest iPhone’ ever.

MacBooks

Not just iPhone, but Apple is expected to launch two new Macs both at this event, Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman revealed. He said in his newsletter, “I’m told from a developer source that Apple has been testing multiple Macs with a new chip in recent weeks that includes an eight-core CPU (four efficiency cores and four high-performance cores) and 10 GPU cores.” This will be the M2 chip that is expected to have the 8-core CPU as the ‌M1.

Mac Studio

New Mac is coming! At least that’s what YouTuber Luke Miani shared, which suggests that Apple is expected to launch a new Mac dubbed as the “Mac Studio.” Not just him, but Bloomberg’s Gurman has also confirmed that we can expect a Mac Studio which is like a smaller Mac Pro, at the spring event. Believing the leaks, the Mac Studio will be 4-inches tall along with a new thermal design for heat dissipation and more USB-C ports.

Studio Display

Another leak by YouTuber Luke Miani suggests that a new 27-inch consumer display, called the “Studio Display” is expected to be launched with the Mac Studio. He also shared some renders of the expected Studio Display which looks like the Pro Display XDR but with slim bezels and a slim footprint.

A Green iPhone 13!

During last year’s Apple Spring event in 2021, we got a new purple coloured iPhone 12. Similarly, this year a new rumour by YouTuber Miani tipped that Apple could launch a new Green iPhone 13. This new colour variant can be launched with iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini. Not just that, the same rumour suggests that we can expect a new purple colour iPad Air too.

Well, true or not, all will be cleared tonight at the Apple’s Spring Event 2022. You can watch this space for all the latest updates on the Apple Spring event and launches as they happen.
