As Karan Johar clocked 25 years in Bollywood, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt dropped the first posters of his upcoming directorial ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘.
After teasing fans with glimpses from the sets on Wednesday, the actors took to their social media handles to give fans a closer look at the many shades of their funky characters as they gear up to tell their ‘Prem Kahaani’.
Ranveer took the lead by dropping his slick and glitzy character posters. Introducing his character, he said, “Yaaron ka yaar aur dilon ka dildaar – Rocky!”

Alia followed next with some dreamy and elegant posters of her character Rani. “Meet Rani,” she captioned the post, while Ranveer added, “Rocky ke dil ki Rani.”
After introducing fans to their characters, the actors dropped a bunch of film posters that give us glimpses of their colourful love story. “Meet Rocky aur Rani. #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, a film by Karan Johar in his 25th anniversary year.In cinemas 28th July, 2023,” the actors captioned the post.

The romantic flick that will see Karan returning to the director’s chair was scheduled to have a Valentine’s Day release this year. However, due to some delays in the shoot, the director chose to postpone the release to July 28.
The film written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan, and Sumit Roy, also stars veteran actors Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in key roles.
