After Sourav Ganguly tests COVID positive, Dev assures fans he has tested negative – Times of India

The moment the news broke out that BCCI president and also a popular TV reality show host Sourav Ganguly has tested positive for COVID-19 Tollywood superstar Dev’s phone didn’t stop ringing while his inbox id flooded with messages asking for his health condition. Recently to promote his recently released film ‘Tonic’, Dev was at the TV reality show along with co-actors Paran Bandopadhyay and others. Fans were worried whether Dev has also tested COVID positive. However, the Tolly star took to his Twitter handle to confirm that he’s safe and he has tested COVID negative. It came as a big relief for his fans.

Meanwhile, Sourav Ganguly, the former India captain has already been admitted to a Kolkata private hospital with mild symptoms. His blood samples will now be sent for genome sequencing to find out if he has contracted the Omicron variant or not.


Dev’s recent release ‘Tonic’ also starring Paran Bandopadhyay, Shakuntala Barua, Sujan Mukherjee, Koneenica Banerjee and others in key roles is directed by Abhijit Sen. It promises to deliver sublime humor with a social message on a strong note.

The film is doing quite well at the box office since its release on December 24.
