Advocate Ali Kaashif Khan files revised application against Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli – Times of India

Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel has a revision complaint filed against her by advocate Ali Kaashif Khan Deshmukh in Mumbai’s Sessions Court with regard to an April 2020 complaint that was previously dismissed by the Magistrate Court.

The Metropolitan Magistrate Court had dismissed Khan’s complaint against Kangana and Rangoli that stated that, on April 15, 2020, Rangoli posted a defamatory and objectionable statement against the Tablighi Jamaat on her Twitter account hurting the sentiments of the Muslim community. Khan has now approached the city’s collector for an issuance of sanction on his complaint.

Khan said, “The complaint should not have been dismissed directly, when the Magistrate had already directed for filing a police report under section 202 of CRPC. The Court should have rather kept it for compliance of the same”.

Khan’s main contention is that the case cannot be directly dismissed over non availability on the sanction order. Instead he is of the opinion that it should be kept for compliance of the same because, in a similar case for sedition filed by Khan against Kangana, another Court has kept it for compliance at Andheri, and the same should happen in this case as well.
