The film has now locked a release date and it will be releasing on the occasion of Good Friday. Metro…इन दिनों will hit the theatres on 29th March, 2024. For this one again, Basu will be teaming up with Pritam for the music of the film. Together they’ve delivered hits like Gangster, Life in a… Metro, Barfi! and Jagga Jasoos.
This will be Basu’s first theatrical release after the debacle of Jagga Jasoos which starred Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif. The film was in the making for many years. In the interim, Basu did make Ludo with Abhishek Bachchan, Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Sheikh, Pankaj Tripathi, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sanya Malhotra.
