Aditya Roy Kapur and Anil Kapoor starrer The Night Manager to get a spin off : Report – Times of India

It was in 2016 when Tom Hiddleston, Hugh Laurie and Olivia Coleman came together for The Night Manager which was a huge global success. The show recently got a desi remake with Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, Tillotama Shome and Shobhita Dhulipala leading the charge and the result was exactly the same as the original, extremely successful.
Now as we hear that the original show, which was based on John Le Carré’s novel by the same name, is going in for a sequel that will be going on floors later this year, reports are coming out that the Indian makers are also looking for spin offs of the lead characters.According to a news portal, the makers of the Indian adaptation of the show have been working on multiple spin offs based on Shaan (Aditya), and Shelly,(Anil) and even Kaveri’s character, portrayed bySobhita Dhulipala, might also get a spin off.
The report mentioned that currently the producers are in talks with a bunch of new writers who are trying to work out stories on Shaan and Shelly’s origin stories and possibly Kaveri’s back story before she met Shelly. The report also revealed that Shelly’s story is going to be an action series with a lot of Asian Mafia being part of it.
For now, fans are enjoying the second instalment of ‘The Night Manager’, which recently released on OTT.
