Although ‘Adipurush’ has been receiving criticism for its dialogues, content and its treatment, the mythological action film that is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana with over Rs 500 crores plus budget, managed to mint Rs 302 crore in its first three days of its release.
The film saw a dip in its collections on Monday as it was a busy weekday for cinema-goers and reportedly, the numbers have fallen drastically to more than half of what it minted on its first day. Reportedly the film earned over Rs 21+ crores on Monday and the major share came from the Hindi version followed by Telugu as per the early estimates. And the 4th-day numbers are yet to be announced by its makers officially.

The Hindi version of the film reportedly had over Rs 20% occupancy on Monday, Whereas the Telugu version had a little higher which is 35%. The film is said to be enjoyed more on the 3D screens compared to the 2D version of the film. Whereas the other language versions of the film were even less in its occupancy reports.
The film is getting lauded for its background score, soundtrack, cinematography and other technical departments and had an extraordinary first day grossing over Rs 140 crores worldwide. Impressively it minted Rs 240 crores on its second day and Rs 302 crores on the third day, which was a Sunday.
