‘Acharya’ Twitter Review: Check out what netizens had to say about Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan’s multi-starrer – Times of India

After a long hiatus, the father-son duo Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan multi starrer hit the silver screens today. The action entertainer, which also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead, has been one of the most anticipated releases of the year. The makers had created the right amount of buzz with the intriguing trailers of Acharya, and fans have been looking forward to the release. And while the movie has hit the theatres today, it has opened to mixed reviews from the audience.

‘Acharya’ is said to be an action drama written and directed by Koratala Siva. The film stars Pooja Hegde playing the female lead and its music was composed by Mani Sharma. The film was shot by cinematographer Tirru, and award-winning editor Naveen Nooli has been roped into the edits.

The film will reportedly witness Chiranjeevi as ‘Acharya’, Ram Charan as Siddha, Pooja as Neelambari, and Sonu Sood as antagonist Basava based on the trailer. While actor Satyadev will be doing a cameo, Regina Cassandra will be doing an item song titled “Saana Kastam” as Mandakini.

The film is said to be made with a whopping budget of Rs 140 crores. It was supposed to release this year for Sankranthi but got pushed multiple times due to Covid-19 and later to accommodate the theatres for other big movies from Tollywood such as ‘RRR’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’. Now, finally, the mega film hit the theatres today across the globe.
