Abid Ali taken to hospital after complaining of shoulder pain
Abid is stable and undergoing various tests to ascertain the nature of the pain
Abid returned to his domestic side, Central Punjab, following the recently concluded Bangladesh tour where he was the Player of the Test series with 263 runs at 87.66. He is playing his sixth first-class game this season and has scored 766 runs at an average of 51.89 with 3 hundreds. On the last day of the ongoing game against Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at UBL complex in Karachi, he was batting on 50 when he complained of discomfort around his shoulder before he was rushed to the hospital.
Central Punjab are sitting in fourth place at the moment and are out of the finals race, with Northern and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sitting in the top two spots.They have drawn five games, won 2 and lost 2 so far this season.
