Aamir Khan, Kajol, Tanuja, Yuvraj Singh: Celebs attend the screening of ‘Salaam Venky’ – Times of India

Kajol’s next film ‘Salaam Venky’ is set to release this Friday, December 9, but the makers held a special screening of the film last night which was attended by the film’s cast and crew. Kajol, director Revathy, Vishal Jethwa and other members of the cast and crew attended the film’s screening. It was also attended by Aamir Khan who has a cameo in the film.
While Kajol looked beautiful in a saree, Aamir Khan was seen flaunting his white hair and a full grown beard as he arrived in a denim jacket and pants.

Others who attended the screening were Kajol’s sister Tanisha and mother Tanuja.

Ishita Dutta who is still basking in the glory of ‘Drishyam 2’ also attended the screening with her husband.

Harshali Malhotra of ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ fame also attended the screening. She put up a picture on her Instagram and wrote, “Zindagi lambi nahi badi honi chahiye (life should be big not long) ….Emotional roller coaster ….”

Yuvraj Singh also attended the film’s screening.

‘Salaam Venky’ is based on a real life story of a boy Venkatesh who was terminally ill. He died but his spirit in his last few days was inspired by Rajesh Khanna from ‘Anand’. The film is directed by Revathy. Vishal Jethwa who was last seen in ‘Mardaani 2’ has a complete change-over in this film as he plays Venky.
