Zomato delivery partner in a wheelchair wins many hearts
The Zomato delivery agent in the video is identified as 37-year-old Ganesh Murugan from Chennai. Posts on different platforms suggested he is India’s first wheelchair food delivery partner.
Posts on Instagram called him the ‘best example of inspiration.’ Many praised his courage and will power. Some also lauded Zomato for employing him.
Murugan was wheelchair-bound after he injured his spinal cord in an accident six years ago. But his spirit emerged stronger.
Murugan’s life story was initially shared by Chhattisgarh IPS officer Dipanshu
on Twitter in June. He called it an inspiration to all those who give up instead of fighting against adversity.

Murugan’s ride can work both as a wheelchair and a transport, Mirror Now reported. It was designed by a start-up at IIT Madras, and takes four hours to charge fully – enough to cover a distance of 25 kms.
