Zeenat Aman to make her web debut with Manish Harishankar’s Showsttopper – Times of India

Zeenat Aman needs no introduction. She was a phenomenon, a heartthrob, a star before her time. The yesteryear actress is now all set to make her digital debut with director Manish Harishankar’s upcoming web series Showsttopper, which deals with the taboo subject of bra fitting.
The actress was recently clicked on the sets of Showsttopper which will feature an ensemble cast of Shweta Tiwari, Rohit Roy, Tannaz Irani, Bakhtiyar, Zarina Wahab among others. Through the show, the makers aim to introduce the hush-hush concept of bra fitting and how specialists called the bra fitters deal with the problem.

Speaking to an entertainment portal, Manish talked about how he approached Zeenat for the role. He said that they were looking for a woman of the actress’ age who has also lived a life as a model. Looking at Zeenat’s career, the director felt that she is the perfect fit for the role. Zeenat liked the subject and decided to come on board within no time. She will be seen playing a very crucial role in the show.

The show is still under production and it has been shot in places like Bhopal, Indore and Mumbai. Apart from directing it, Manish is also producing the show. However, he has remained tight-lipped about the when and where the show will premiere.

Zeenat recently made her foray on Instagram and the actress has been winning hearts with her posts where she has shared some anecdotes of her life and filmy career.
