You’re Invited! To the Mytheresa x Vogue Pop-up Shop in Palm Beach
Though it’s the dead of winter at Vogue’s New York HQ, down in Palm Beach, Florida, things are a little less chill, in the best way possible. There’s no ice on the sidewalks, no bitter winds—and so, like many snowbirds before it, Vogue is headed south!
From Tuesday, March 1 through Saturday, March 5, come visit us at the Mytheresa x Vogue pop-up shop in Palm Beach. We’re taking over The Colony Hotel and filling it with the best of resort and early spring—think Loewe’s basket bags, Jade’s cut-out swimsuits, Pucci’s puffed-up psychedelic slides, Valentino’s V-printed minis. It’s our Palm Beach Edit, and your one-stop destination for warm-weather wear.
If you’re in the area, come say hello—Vogue editors will be on hand to help style shopgoers; no reservation needed. Not in Florida? You can still shop the Mytheresa x Vogue Palm Beach Edit below. Scroll through for a selection of Worth Avenue-worthy pieces that’ll look good no matter where you take them.
For Lounging Poolside à la Slim Aarons
No poolside moment is complete without the help of two of our favorite Italians—Missoni and Pucci. A striped Missoni coverup clashes marvelously with Pucci’s easy slides. Slip into Jade’s bronzey one-piece and accessorize with Gucci’s tortoiseshell square-framed shades, a chunky woven Balenciaga tote, and an embellished raffia bucket hat from Paco Rabanne. You’ll be both photo and swim-ready.
For a Palm Beach Art Crawl
Palm Beach’s art scene is thriving. For a day spent museum and gallery-hopping, why not look the part of a work of art? Etro’s printed shirt dress is equal parts easy and elegant. So too is Chloé’s crochet fringed linen maxi dress. And then it’s all about the accessories: You can’t go wrong with Spinelli Kilcollin’s mixed metal rings—it takes the guesswork out of the stackable ring trend. Valentino’s heeled mules might not be the most practical walking shoe, but they’ll certainly hold their own at, say, the Norton Museum of Art. Finish it all off with a subtly striped Saint Laurent bag.
For Mommy-and-Me Dressing
What’s more adorable than Zimmermann’s floral bucket hat? One done up just slightly smaller, to fit your mini-me. Double up with your little ones with just an accessory, or at the pool—Marysia’s scallop trimmed suit will do the trick. Then there are Dolce & Gabbana’s cotton frocks; the sweetest way to coordinate. The only thing more charming than wearing this Sicilian-inspired printed sundress is wearing it in pairs.
For Serving Looks On (and Off) the Court
You’re in Palm Beach, so we’re going to guess that you’re into tennis—or perhaps you just enjoy a crisp tennis white? If so, may we recommend Marysia’s tennis skirt-and-top set? (You could say we love-love it.) Tory Sport’s athletic leggings-and-top set are equally chic. Wear it to a lesson, a class, or just because. For sport-infused accessories not technically meant for high performance, Y Project subverts prep with this drapey polo top, and Gucci’s striped sneakers are always a good idea.
For Glamour at Home
Part of the magic of Palm Beach? Those astounding barrel-tile roofed homes informed by Addison Mizner—the architect who left his mark on the town in the 1920s and developed the Italian-ish aesthetic dubbed Mizner Mediterranean. Should you find yourself inside one of these properties, at-home casual means dressing for your setting. Think blousy silken dresses for glamorous hostessing: Sacai’s paisley-printed dress, Victoria Beckham’s emerald green slip, or Asceno’s bias-cut dress will look (and feel!) marvelous to wear. On your feet, Alaïa’s take on the Moroccan babouche is perfect for padding around at home; so too are Loro Piana’s luxe slippers. And because we all like a bit of bling, try Suzanne Kalan’s diamond and topaz ring on for size.
For Cocktailing at The Colony Hotel
See and be seen at the city’s favorite hotel wearing Christopher Esber’s cut-out midi shirt dress—it manages to expose just the right amount of midriff. Or, consider a slinky cashmere skirt from the same designer paired with a boxy top from Jacquemus. Jimmy Choo’s square-toed raffia-effect slides will pair well with both looks. And if you know the Colony, you know pink and green are Colony Hotel-approved hues. Accessorize with Jil Sander’s embellished hoops and Bottega Veneta’s tasseled purse.
For Shopping on Worth Avenue
Your first stop is going to be the Mytheresa x Vogue pop-up, of course, and you’ll need to wear flats. This is going to be a shop-till-you-drop experience, so best to be prepared! We like these crocheted loafers from Chloé; pair them with a billowing silk shirt dress from Dries Van Noten or this striped cotton and linen option from Brunello Cucinelli. Should you want something a bit more sportif, Lee Mathew’s shorts will look great. You’ll want a crossbody bag to stay hands-free—one from Loewe’s collaboration with Paula’s Ibiza will do the trick. Lastly, bring along Bottega Veneta’s cateye specs.
For Palm Beach Party Dressing
You’ve RSVPed yes, now it’s time to pick the dress! Should your shindig require black tie, this crystal-embellished Miu Miu gown is utterly divine; pair it with Roger Vivier’s satin clutch festooned with floral buckle. Is your event more of a late-night dance party? If so, might we recommend The Attico’s feather-trimmed neon frock? This is a dress that just begs for a night out! Wear it with Bottega Veneta’s stretchy mesh pumps. Is your party more of a sunset cocktail affair? Valentino’s vibrant stripes zig and zag in just the right places. Stick with the colorful theme and finish it off with Shay Jewelry’s rainbow necklace.
For the Miami Bound
You’re in Palm Beach, but maybe you’re really headed to Miami? That means you’re going to need a Mayyyyami look. Think color, attitude, and skin on show. Start with a bra for a top (we like Valentino’s) and a miniskirt that doubles as a coverup (Oseree’s wrap). Or maybe you want to match the blanched Art Deco architecture with a white dress from LoveShackFancy? Finally, grab a woven Bottega Veneta clutch, a pair of cherry red shades from Loewe, and slide into Valentino’s flat sandals. You’ll be ready to seize the Miami day.
