Bollywood actress Yami Gautam has surely come a long way and has created a niche for herself with great commercial projects she chooses to work in. The actress, who has six films for release this year, is especially excited for two films, among them –A Thursday and Lost, as she gets to shoulder them alone for the first time.

Speaking on making the most of these opportunities, the actress told a news portal that she feels confident to headline by herself but the nervousness will always be there. The actress said that nervousness comes from the love and passion for acting and being part of such exciting scripts.

Yami wrapped shooting 6 projects back, last year amid the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. While it has been tough, the actress said that 2021 was one of the most significant years for her. The actress told the portal, while the year was harsh and disappointing for everyone, a lot of things changed in her life, personally and professionally.

On the work front, Yami will next be seen in ‘Dasvi’ co-starring Abhishek Bachchan and Nimrat Kaur in lead roles. Apart from that, she also has Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s next film where she will be seen essaying the role of a journalist.
