Writer of Parveen Babi’s biopic puts all allegations to rest, confirms that Urvashi Rautela is indeed a part of the movie | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

For the past few days, Urvashi Rautela has been grabbing the headlines as she claimed to have signed Parveen Babi’s biopic. However, an English news portal in their investigation, found her claims to be false. However, another publication got in touch with the writer of the film and he has put an end to all allegations once and for all.
The film has been written by Dheeraj Mishra and in an interview, he confirmed that Urvashi has indeed been signed to play Parveen Babi in the official biopic of the late actress. He added that they were considering names like Sonakshi Sinha and Shraddha Kapoor for the said role, but after they saw Uravshi’s music video Bijli Ki Taar, the makers thought she would be ideal. The producer of the film, Wasim Khan, approached her two months ago. He also added that they wanted an actress who had not done many films and Urvashi was just perfect for that, as she also looks similar to the late actress.The other actors and shooting date will be announced soon.
Mahesh Bhatt, who was in a relationship with Parveen Babi has made two films on her life, one was Phir Teri Kahani Yaad Aayee with Rahul Roy and Pooja Bhatt, and the other was Woh Lamhe with Kangana Ranaut and Shiney Ahuja.
