After Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, YRF has roped in Alia Bhatt to be a part of their spy universe. The film is expected to go on floors in 2024.
According to a latest report, Alia will be playing a gender-free spy in the film. She won’t be playing a gender-specific action heroine but a hero like Salman and SRK. Director Aditya Chopra reportedly wants to break the stereotypical image of the female hero where she is expected to be glamorous and sexy.Alia will play a makeup-free no-vanitysuperhero in a mission to save the world, the report in Bollywood Hungama stated.

The report also added that other superheroes like Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan will make an appearance in Alia’s spy universe. However, not in the first part. Chopra doesn’t want the limelight to be stolen from Alia.

While many details regarding the film have been doing the rounds in the media, a formal announcement is yet to be made by the makers of the film. It is expected to be done after the release of Alia’s upcoming film, ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani‘.
The Karan Johar directorial also stars Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. It is slated to hit the theatres on July 28, 2023.
Apart from this, Alia will also be making her Hollywood debut with ‘Heart of Stone’ with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan.
