According to latest reports, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan will be working together after 32 years.After wrapping ‘Jailer’ and ‘Lal Salaam’, Rajinikanth will start work on ‘Jai Bhim’ director TJ Gnanavel’s next venture. Since it is Rajinikanth’s 170th venture, the movie has been tentatively titled Thalaivar 170. It will feature Amitabh Bachchan in a pivotal role. This project was reportedly first offered to ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ actor Chiyaan Vikram. Thalaivar 170 is scheduled to go on floors later this year.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently shooting for ‘Section 84’, which is being directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. This film is said to be an intense courtroom drama. Apart from this, Big B also has Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’ in the pipeline co-starring Deepika Padukone and Prabhas. He had been shooting for the same in Hyderabad when he suffered rib injury and returned back home to Mumbai.
