Asia Cup 2023: India has announced its 17-member travelling squad for the Asai Cup 2023 which was followed by a press conference in Delhi from captain Rohit Sharma and chief selector Ajit Agarwal. This edition will be played in ODI format.
The 2023 Asia Cup will be played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka from August 30 to September 17.

Total wins: India won the first-ever edition of the competition in 1984. India has won the title 7 times in the Asia Cup history, six ODI titles and one T20I title. India is one of three teams in the Asia Cup ODI event to have won a game by a margin of 10 wickets.
Virat Kohli’s record in Asia Cup: Former Indian captain Virat Kohli’s unbelievable 183 against Pakistan assisted India in chasing down 330, which continues to be the biggest chase in Asia Cup ODI history to this day. He is the 12th in all-time most runs scored in Asia Cup history. Indian hitters have currently hit as many as 16 individual hundreds in ODI matches for the Asia Cup. Three of the 16 belong exclusively to Virat Kohli. Shikhar Dhawan, Suresh Raina and Sachin Tendulkar have also scored multiple Asia Cup centuries. Kohli had one half-century in these 10 matches, scoring 50 or more runs in every 2.5 innings.
