When Prateik Babbar opened up about breaking up with Amy Jackson; revealed they never spoke after that – Times of India

Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson, who worked together in ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’, dated each other for some time before parting ways for reasons best known to them.

In a throwback interview with a news portal, Prateik opened up about his heartbreak and how it was a dark phase in his life. The actor revealed that he was initially quite shy as a person, and Amy brought out the best in him. According to him, she was very simple at heart.

Spilling some beans about his heartbreak, Prateik said that their break up was mutual and their courtship can simply be summed up as ‘Tab ek deewana tha, aura b ek deewani hai’. He was reportedly in depression after the break up and it was a severe heartbreak, Prateik had told Hindustan Times.

In another interview, Pratiek said that ‘Ekk Deewana Tha’ was a movie that made him feel like an actor. According to him it was a good film but things went haywire for him after he fell in love. He added that his bad phase began when he experienced heartbreak at the age of 25. For the actor, it hit differently and he completely disappeared after that.

Prateik also added that Amy and he had not been in touch post-breakup and had never spoken to each other since then.

On the work front, Prateik will next be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘India Lockdown’. The film is slated to release on December 2, 2022.
