Amidst that, a video of Jaya Bachchan’s lashing out at paparazzi is also going viral on the internet. In the video, Jaya is seen schooling the paparazzi for calling Aishwarya by her name. She goes on to question, “Aishwarya kya hota hai? Is she your school friend?” which makes the actress giggle.
There have often been rumours about all not being well between Jaya and Aishwarya. However, the veteran actress had once heaped praises on her daughter-in-law’s quiet and calm personality. During her appearance on Koffee With Karan, the actress had expressed how much she loved her daughter-in-law for her stand behind personality.
She said, “I have never ever seen her push herself whenever we are all together. I like that quality of hers to stand behind. She is quiet. She listens and she is taking it all in. And another beautiful thing is that she has fitted in so well in the family. She knows who our good friends are.”
Jaya will next be seen in Karan Johar’s ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh in lead roles. It also features Dharmendra and Shabana Azmi.
Aishwarya, on the other hand, will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’.
