Tamannaah was in Kolkata recently due to some work commitments. Obviously, she dug into some classic snacks of the city and also made it a point to share her indulgences on social media. First things first, Tamannaah Bhatia relished some jhalmuri. The Bengali word ‘jhal’ means spicy and ‘muri’ stands for puffed rice or what some call ‘murmura’. Now, jhalmuri is prepared by mixing murmura with spices, boiled potatoes, onion, and chanachur (a Bengali version of sev), among other things. You can also call it a distant cousin of bhelpuri.
