When Hrithik Roshan admitted to almost causing an earthquake in Bengaluru! – Times of India

Bollywood heartthrob and dance virtuoso celebrated his 48th birthday yesterday, on the 10th of January, and one couldn’t stop the internet from gushing over him the entire day. From the first-look reveal of his ‘Vikram Vedha’ avatar to birthday wishes and messages of pure fandom, fans had a merry time expressing their love for the ‘War’ actor who, despite the aging, seems to be getting only fitter and younger!

And Hrithik Roshan, undeniably, enjoys similar fan-following in the city of Bengaluru as well. In this vein, one can recall a small albeit super funny incident that took place not very long ago when the actor was “accused” of contacting aliens to cause an earthquake in Bengaluru.

Many would remember that the city had experienced a few tremors caused due to an aircraft’s sonic boom back in May of 2020 which, although had lasted only a couple of seconds, had led many to believe that it was an earthquake. And then, when a fan asked Hrithik on social media (in complete jest) if he had “called aliens by mistake again”, the actor’s hilarious response left everyone in splits.

“Wasn’t a mistake. It’s time,” wrote Hrithik Roshan in response in his usual dead-pan demeanor which had amused all his followers, including Bengaluru’s own Kubra Sait. The “aliens” comment came in reference to Hrithik’s 2004 film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ in which his character comes in contact with a lost alien to forge an unlikely friendship.

On the work front, Hrithik Roshan’s gears up for one of his biggest years to date with multiple, high-profile projects. His look as
Vedha from the official ‘Vikram Vedha’ remake was unveiled yesterday to a tremendous response.
