When Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned a muse for her ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ co-star Ranbir Kapoor – Times of India

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Ranbir Kapoor’s sizzling onscreen chemistry had become the talk of the town after they starred together in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’.

However, not many know that even before this, Ranbir worked with Aishwarya when he assisted his late father Rishi Kapoor on his film, ‘Aa Ab Laut Chale’ which starred the gorgeous actress.

Today, we got our hands on a lovely throwback photo of the two actors from the sets of the film. In the photo, Aishwarya can be seen sitting on a couch, posing for Ranbir, who is seen attempting to sketch her portrait.

This photo was shared by Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, shortly after the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. The film also starred Anushka Sharma in a lead role.

In an earlier interview with a news portal, Ranbir had opened up about spending time with Aishwarya on the sets of ‘Aa Ab Laut Chale’. He said that even though he was younger to Aishwarya, she really befriended him, and they used to chat about movies.

Ranbir also went on to add that she would share details about her character in ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ that she was shooting at that time. According to the actor, they even used to have a meal together and chat about life after the shoot.

On the work front, Ranbir will next be seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’. Apart from this, he also has Lu Ranjan’s untitled next.
